Woman arrested over suspicious house fire

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a house fire near Truro in Cornwall.
The 46-year-old woman from Threemilestone was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service sent three crews to a house in Elizabeth Court in Threemilestone at 01:10 BST.
The top floor of the house was on fire when crews arrived, with two further crews subsequently sent to the scene, the service said.
Police said the house was found empty when officers arrived.
The force said the fire was being treated as suspicious and officers would be conducting patrols in the area to help reassure residents.
