Nottingham City Council has warned disruption to services caused by a power cut is expected "to continue into the weekend".

The authority first reported issues with its online systems, phones and payments due to power problems at Loxley House on Thursday.

On Friday, the council said the situation remained the same and asked people not to visit the Station Street site and instead rearrange their appointments.

It said: "Our teams are working hard to continue to provide services, but please be patient as we are experiencing disruptions, which we expect to continue into the weekend."
