Double-decker bus catches fire in central London

A double-decker bus has caught fire in central London.

The back of the number 88 went up in flames at about 06:50 BST outside the Portland Hospital on Great Portland Street, which remains closed in both directions.

All passengers were safely evacuated and there are no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is unknown.

London Fire Brigade brought the blaze, near Great Portland Street Tube station, under control by 07:00.
