No West Midlands Metro trams will run between The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust and Wolverhampton Station from Friday due to engineering work, transport bosses say.

The work will see upgrades to signalling equipment ahead of the reopening of Wolverhampton St George's stop in the coming weeks, West Midlands Metro said.

Services will not run between the stops from Friday 29th August until end of service on Sunday 31 August.

Trams will operate between The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust and Edgbaston Village only, and tickets will be accepted on National Express bus service 79 while the work is being carried out.
