Oswestry Town Council is giving 600 trees to residents to plant in their gardens, as part of a campaign to tackle climate change.
The council said it had provided 17,000 trees to households, community groups, schools and colleges since 2021.
The Big Tree Giveaway will be held at Bailey Head on 22 November and 26 November between 10:00-14:00 GMT.
Mayor of Oswestry Rosie Radford said: "These trees are fighting climate change by locking up carbon. They're also wildlife heaven for birds, bees and butterflies, and they look beautiful too."
Native species, available on a first come, first served basis, include cherry, crab apple, field maple, hazel and silver birch.
