A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after he fell from the roof of a Bradford city centre hotel, police have said.

West Yorkshire Police said officers were called to reports of a "domestic-related incident" at the The Great Victoria Hotel on Bridge Street at about 07:46 BST.

When police arrived at the building, which sits between Bradford Interchange and the city's crown court, a man had fallen from the roof of the hotel, a force spokesperson said.

A cordon remained on Monday afternoon as inquiries continued.
