Man, 80, charged with murder over death in flats

Ambulance crews were called to Silverdale Close in Aylesbury on Friday afternoon

An 80-year-old man has been charged with murder after another man died at a block of flats.

Emergency services were called to a property on Silverdale Close in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, at 16:20 GMT on Friday.

A man in his 70s was found with serious injuries and died at the scene.

Peter Kindell, of Silverdale Close, Aylesbury, has been charged with one count of murder, one count of possession of an offensive weapon in public, and one count of possession of a bladed article in public.

Mr Kindell is due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court later.
