Man, 36, dies after fall from mountain ridge

A man has died after falling from a mountain ridge in Wales' largest national park.
Emergency services, including North Wales Police and the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team, responded to reports of someone falling from Crib Goch in Eryri National Park, also known as Snowdonia, in Gwynedd at about 11:30 BST on Saturday.
A 36-year-old man was recovered from Yr Wyddfa, also known as Snowdon, by helicopter and pronounced dead at the scene.
Formal identification has not yet taken place, but the man's next of kin have been informed and the coroner has been notified, police said.
The force added it was appealing for witnesses and an investigation into the circumstances was ongoing.
