The family of a man who died in a crash in Devon have paid tribute to him as a "kind-hearted" and "devoted" father.
Father-of-two David Sterratt, 46, died at the scene of the two-car crash at Iron Railings Cross near Tavistock at about 12:55 BST on 26 August, police said.
A 10-month-old girl who was also in the crash died in hospital three days later.
In a tribute issued through Devon and Cornwall Police, Mr Sterratt's family said they were "devastated by the tragic loss of his life".
'Deeply missed'
Mr Sterratt, who was born in Cornwall but lived in Tavistock with his partner and children, had previously served in the Royal Navy and more recently worked as a photographer.
His family said: "He was a loving, kind-hearted, funny, and devoted father of two young children.
"We have been overwhelmed by the support shown and many kind words that have been shared by those who knew him.
"He will be deeply missed by his family and friends."
Police said the crash involving a Vauxhall Astra and a Kia Rio saw four people, including the baby girl, taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Three others suffered minor injuries, the force said.
A man in his 30s, from Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by careless driving.
He was released on bail pending further investigations, police said.
