Body found by firefighters at house blaze

Emergency services were called to a property on Bury Road, in Thetford, on Monday evening

A body was discovered by firefighters dealing with a house fire.

Norfolk Police were called by Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service to Bury Road in Thetford, at about 21:23 BST on Monday.

Police said the death was "being treated as unexplained" and the scene remained cordoned off while "officers and fire investigators work to determine the full circumstances of the fire".

Anyone with information has been asked to contact the force.
