A driver has been charged with multiple offences over a crash in Worcester involving a police officer

A man has been charged over a crash in which a police officer was knocked off their police motorbike, West Mercia Police has said.

The incident happened on Hoskyns Avenue, Worcester, at about 09:00 BST on 11 October.

A police spokesperson said no one was injured but a 38-year-old man had been charged with dangerous driving, driving without insurance, driving without a licence and assault on an emergency worker.

They added the force was keen to hear from a driver of a silver/grey Ford Mondeo that was in the area at the time of the incident.
