With festive lights glittering throughout the city, London's Christmas celebrations appear to be in full swing.

Someone who gets a unique view of the various goings-on around the capital is aerial photographer Jason Hawkes, external.

Shooting pictures from an AS355 helicopter, Hawkes has captured the city's Christmas sights, from the Shard's light display to the buskers of Covent Garden.
