Guernsey Airport's airfield has been broken into for the second time in one weekend.
On Saturday, a man allegedly accessed the Guernsey Airport aerodrome from the north side of the boundary before the site opened to the public.
Guernsey Ports said a member of the public was arrested on Sunday after illegally entering the aerodrome at about 09:44 BST. It is understood both incidents may have involved the same individual, it added.
Operations were suspended whilst the person was arrested with an inbound Aurigny flight from Gatwick being held overhead for about 10 minutes. Ports said no other flights were affected and the airport reopened shortly after 10:00 BST.
Airport director Richard Thomasson said safety and security was its "number one priority".
He said: "We have well-established aviation security arrangements and procedures, which are regularly tested to deal with such incidents.
"As a result, on both occasions, the individual was proactively intercepted and detained and were then handed over to Guernsey Police.
"We take such incidents very seriously, and we will be conducting a full review of our existing security arrangements in consultation with Guernsey Police and our aviation security regulator."
