A bid to build nearly 200 homes in a Wiltshire town has been given the final sign-off.
Wiltshire Council approved the reserved matters for a new 193-home estate for land near Victoria Road in Warminster on Thursday.
The development is the third phase of a wider scheme to build up to 1,000 homes in the area.
Developer Persimmon Homes said the homes would have "a clear design structure, architectural style and landscape approach aimed at creating a characterful development".
Outline planning permission for the full 1,000 homes project, called West Warminster Urban Extension, was approved in 2020, the Local Democracy Reporting Service said.
According to a council report, a wastewater treatment facility and floating treatment wetland have been included in the plans.
Persimmon Homes said the third phase would "integrate with the local context" by retaining hedgerows and watercourses, as well as providing new footpaths.
The application said: "The phase three development area is situated next to the already approved phase one, which will deliver a new primary/secondary school with significant open space and a children's play area.
"The wider site will deliver further green uses, as well as facilities and employment land."
