A consultation has been launched to gather people's views about safety in Plymouth at night.
Plymouth City Council's cabinet member for community safety Sally Haydon said people were invited to have their say about the evening and night-time economy in the city.
Haydon said: "In my opinion, there's always more that can be done."
The consultation ends on the 12 October and the results will be published to the public.
It is part of the Violence Against Women and Girls commission work, which launched three years ago to try and help people feeler safer in the city.
Haydon said: "Plymouth has an awful lot to offer at night, it is well known for its night time economy and it's not just about the licensed premises, it can be the theatre or going out for a meal.
"I want people to be able to go out and enjoy and feel safe in our lovely city."
"This will then help us be able to move forward if there is something that we are missing because we all think that we know everything, but we don't," she added.
