A drug-driver has been disqualified from driving after reaching speeds of 80mph in a 30mph zone.

Paul Rudkin, 42, from Bentswood Road, Haywards Heath, failed to stop for police and dangerously overtook other vehicles, Portsmouth Magistrates' Court heard.

He lost control of the vehicle in Burgess Hill and was found to be ten times over the limit for cocaine.

He received a three-year ban from driving.

Rudkin had been jailed for 10 months in January for driving without a valid licence.
