Driver charged after Sussex Police find cannabis in car

The BBC's Inside Out South East programme has been taking a look at how police in Sussex have been implementing a law which makes drug-driving a specific offence.

Lillian's Law was brought into force in March 2015.

During a ride-along with Sussex Police, officers arrested a driver who tested positive for cannabis and was found with a large bag of the drug in his car.

The man was charged with drug-driving, possession of cannabis and driving without a licence.

After being bailed he failed to turn up at court and Sussex Police have now issued a warrant for his arrest.
