Six on bail after man injured in drive-by shooting

Six people arrested in connection with a suspected drive-by shooting that left a man critically injured have been released on bail.
Hertfordshire Police said an e-bike rider in his 20s remained in a life-threatening condition in hospital after he was shot on the southbound A41 in Watford at about 17:20 BST on 25 July.
Two 18-year-old men from Watford, a 19-year-old woman from Bushey, a 20-year-old man from Watford, a 23-year-old woman from Edgware - and a 26-year-old man from Pinner - were arrested.
The force is seeking witnesses who may have information about the occupants of a black BMW involved in the incident and who left the scene in the direction of the M1.
Both 18-year olds were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, with one also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
The 26-year-old and the 20-year-old were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder with the latter also arrested for possession of firearms with intent.
The two women were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Police confirmed they were connecting the shooting with separate reports of targeted violence in Brocklesbury Close, Watford, on 24 July.
An 18-year-old man from Watford, charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon, will appear at St Albans Crown Court on 27 August.
