Fifth man charged over alleged cars arson attack

A fifth man has been charged in connection with an alleged arson attack which destroyed five vehicles in Grimsby.
Police were called to the incident on Barmouth Drive at about 00:40 BST on 14 October.
Kye Hill, 25, of Curzon Court, Cleethorpes has been charged with conspiracy to commit arson and will appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court later, Humberside Police said.
Four other men have been charged in connection with the fires.
They all pleaded not guilty to arson with intent to endanger life during a hearing at Grimsby Crown Court on Monday.
David Maddison, 37, of Beeson Street; Jason Gladding, 35, of Columbus Way; Matthew Somerfield, 39, of no fixed abode were all remanded in custody.
Gary Mills, 41, of Beeson Street was released on conditional bail.
A trial date has been set for 13 April 2026.
