Arrest after motorcyclist killed in crash

A motorcyclist has been arrested on suspicion of causing the death of another biker in a crash in Cleethorpes.

The 53-year-old rider of a Yamaha DT suffered fatal injuries when he was involved in a collision with a Land Rover Discovery and a Ford Ka on Grimsby Road at about 17:00 BST on Tuesday.

Police said the rider of a second motorbike, a Yamaha YBR, was later arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving while over the limit.

He remained in police custody on Wednesday, a Humberside Police spokesperson added.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam or CCTV footage from around the time of the collision is urged to contact Humberside Police us on the non-emergency number 101.
