Police are investigating a violent disturbance in Edenbridge which left two men in hospital

An attempted murder investigation has been launched following an assault which left two men in hospital.

Kent Police said officers were called to a disturbance in the Pine Grove and Crouch House Road areas of Edenbridge just after 00:00 BST on 2 May.

It was reported that three men in a black BMW assaulted two men in their 20s, who were known to the suspects, before fleeing.

One victim was taken to a London hospital with stab wounds and is described as an in a "serious but stable" condition. The second man was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The BMW has since been seized, according to police. No arrests have been made.

Investigators are appealing for any witnesses, including anyone with relevant CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage, to come forward.
