Inquest into deaths of mum and children suspended

An inquest into the deaths of a mother and her three children has been suspended pending criminal proceedings.
Bryonie Gawith, 29, and her children Denisty Birtle, nine, Oscar Birtle, five, and 22-month-old Aubree Birtle died after a fire in the early hours of the morning Westbury Road, Bradford, on 21 August.
Senior coroner Martin Fleming suspended the inquest following a brief hearing at Bradford Coroners' Court.
Two men, Calum Sunderland, 25, and Mohammed Shabir, 44, have been charged with four counts of murder and are due to enter pleas at Bradford Crown Court on 25 September.
They are also charged with the attempted murder of Antonia Gawith.
Det Insp Eleanor Buchanan told the inquest that a third male who was "removed from the property at time of the incident" remains in a critical condition in hospital.
