Motorcyclist dies after three vehicle crash

Devon and Cornwall Police said a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene

A motorcyclist has died following a three vehicle crash in Devon, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police were called to the A39, Countisbury Hill, near Lynmouth, at 13:40 BST on Saturday.
Police said the collision involved a Honda CBR 1000 motorcycle, a Ford Fiesta and a Seat Ibiza.
"As a result of the collision, the rider of the Honda received serious injuries and was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene," police said.
Police thanked the public for their patience while they investigated the scene and are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time.
