Man charged with strangling woman after body found

Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward

A man has been charged with strangling a woman who was found dead in Blackpool.
The body of the woman, who was in her 40s, was found at a house in Acre Gate, with Lancashire Police called at 01:35 GMT on Monday.
Following a post-mortem examination, the woman's cause of death is currently "unascertained" awaiting further inquiries, the force said.
Ben Hencsei, 46, of Nesswood Avenue, Blackpool, has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and intentional strangulation.
