As schools close for the summer, there are plenty of venues in Hull where families can stay cool and make a splash at the same time.
Here is a list of outdoor swimming pools, splash parks and paddling pools in the city and whether they are currently open or closed.
Albert Avenue lido
This facility has had a £10.5m rebuild and includes a heated lido which has been refurbished for outdoor swimming. It also includes a water play area.
Alderman Kneeshaw Park
This park is home to a seasonal water play area. The council states this facility is open until the beginning of September from 10:00 to 17:00 BST.
Bude Park
The park includes a seasonal splash park. The council states this facility is open until the beginning of September from 10:00 to 17:00.
East Park splash pad - closed
The park includes a children's splash playground and a 43-jet splash park, as well as splash boats and swan boats.
However, those wanting to cool down in the splash park will have to wait as it will not be open this summer after an inspection found "issues with the quality of the surface" which required a complete refurbishment, the council said.
Ings Road Park
The council says the Ings Road Park water play area is open daily during the school summer holidays from 10:00 to 17:00.

The paddling pool at Pickering Park in Hull is undergoing a £540,000 refurbishment

Pickering Park paddling pool - closed
The pool closed in 2023 due to health and safety concerns and was due to reopen in time for this summer. However, the pool remains closed.
West Park
Dating back to 1885, this park also features seasonal water play and has a paddling pool which the council says is open until the beginning of September from 10:00 to 17:00.
The council states the facilities are occasionally closed at short notice for maintenance.
