Kidnap accused trio deny all charges

Three men have pleaded not guilty to kidnap, wounding with intent and unlawful wounding.

Mohammad Comrie, 22, from Leeds, Faiz Shah, 22, from Bradford, and Elijah Ogunnubi-Sime, 20, from Wallington, appeared at Swansea Crown Court on Wednesday.

It was the first crown court appearance from the men following an an assault on a man in Carmarthenshire in August.

A trial date has been set for 17 February 2025 and all three will remain in custody.

Dyfed-Powys Police attended a property in the Brynteg area of Llanybydder, Carmarthenshire, on Monday 26 August, after reports of an assault.

One man attended hospital for treatment for minor injuries and has since been discharged.

Mr Comrie, Mr Shah and Mr Ogunnubi-Sime were arrested on the same day and have since remained in police custody.
