Man charged over suspected high street stabbing

A 42-year-old man has been charged following a suspected stabbing in a town's high street.
The injured man, in his 20s, was taken to hospital on Tuesday after being found with serious injuries to his arm on Poole High Street shortly before 03:00 BST.
The force said the suspect, who is from the town, had been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He is believed to be known to the victim.
He is set to appear at Poole Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
