A ferry passenger has been rescued from the Firth of Clyde after falling from a vessel travelling to the Isle of Arran.
Crews from the ferry were dispatched to pull the man from the water after he fell from the 13:35 Calmac service between Troon and Brodick on Saturday.
The MV Alfred was rerouted back to Troon harbour after the rescue and Calmac warned sailings would be delayed for the rest of the day.
The passenger, who was understood to be conscious, was passed to the Scottish Ambulance Service.
