A man has been found guilty of attempted murder after stabbing a man in the head, neck and torso outside his home.
David Clarke, 59, attacked his victim in Hazlewood Avenue, Eastbourne, on 9 February following a dispute, leaving him with serious injuries.
Clarke, from Eastbourne, has been convicted of attempted murder by unanimous verdict at Hove Crown Court.
Det Con Chris Smith, of Sussex Police, said the conviction "provides reassurance to the local community that such violence will not be tolerated".
"This was a violent attack which left the victim with serious injuries. Thanks to the swift response of emergency services and the courage of the victim, we were able to bring the offender to justice," Mr Smith added.
