Sark has cancelled its Emergency Services Day because of bad weather.
Islanders were expected to be able to tour Guernsey's ambulance boat as part of the celebrations. The Flying Christine III, operated by St John Ambulance, has provided a marine ambulance service across the bailiwick for 30 years.
Residents would also have been able to look around Sark's fire engine and ambulance and meet the crews, as well as community first responders and the island's medical officer.
A special sea service on Sunday at Creux Harbour has also been cancelled, Sark's government added.
