A 28-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm following an assault in Waterfoot in County Antrim on Saturday morning.

A 19-year-old man remains in a critical condition in hospital, police said.

The teenager was found unconscious on Main Street in the village just after 01:25 BST.

On Saturday, police said there may have been an argument inside a pub before it spilled on to the street outside.

The 28-year-old is due to appear before Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Monday.
