A 60-year-old biker is in a life-threatening condition after a crash in Moray on Sunday.

The man was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after his Honda CBR 600F collided with a Skoda Yeti car.

Police said the crash happened on the B9040 Hopeman to Lossiemouth road, near the Covesea Greens Equestrian Centre, at about 13:00.

The 81-year-old Skoda driver and his two female passengers, aged 75 and 46, were not injured.

Sgt Lesley Morrison, of the road policing unit in Elgin, urged anyone who witnessed the crash or was travelling on the road at the time and may have captured footage on their dashcams to contact police, external.
