A man has been arrested after more than 50 cannabis plants were recovered from a house in Worcester, police have said.
West Mercia Police carried out a misuse of drugs warrant at an address in the Cherry Orchard area of the city on Tuesday.
The suspect, in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and has since been detained by Immigration Enforcement.
The plants were discovered on the ground floor of the property and will now be destroyed, a police spokesperson said.
PC Phoebe Attwood said: "Cannabis grows can be linked to organised crime groups, whose activities fuel further criminality, including modern slavery.
"Tackling these operations is vital to protecting our communities and keeping them safe from harm."
