Multi-vehicle crash causes rush hour delays on M62

Drivers were warned of one hour delays to their journeys

A crash involving several vehicles closed three lanes on the M62 in Greater Manchester earlier.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said nobody was injured in the crash, which happened on the westbound carriageway between Junction 12 for the M60 and Junction 11 for Risley at about 07:45 BST.
National Highways had warned drivers to expect delays of one hour, and warned on X, external there were spillages on the road surface.
It later updated that all lanes had reopened by 10:45 BST and long delays should soon clear.

The spillage on the carriageway has been cleared, National Highways said.
It added: "Thanks for your patience this morning."
