Police investigating the death of a 34-year-old man have charged two more men with murder.

Ryan Burton, from Corby, Northamptonshire, died in hospital on 16 January - six days after being assaulted in Spring Rise Park , off Highfield Road in Kettering.

On Thursday, police re-arrested Connor White, 25, of Spencer Street, Rothwell, and Kyle Derek McSkimming, 23, of Pen Green Lane, Corby, following new evidence.

Both have been charged with one count of murder and one count of robbery and appeared before Northampton Magistrates' Court on Friday where they were remanded into custody.

They will next appear at Northampton Crown Court on 25 February.

The robbery charge related to an incident that occurred in Wallis Road, Kettering, on the same evening Mr Burton sustained injuries.

Three other men are currently on remand after being charged with murder and robbery.

Cameron Williams-Ferguson, 25, from Kettering, Keiton Underwood, 20, from Desborough, and Ace Hill, 18, from Corby, were next due to appear at Northampton Crown Court on 21 March.

Det Ch Insp Johnny Campbell said the force still wanted to hear from anyone with information, "no matter how small or insignificant they believe the information is".

Police have made 15 arrests in connection with the investigation.

Four Kettering men were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain on police bail pending further inquiries.

Among the other arrests was a 28-year-old woman from Kettering, who was released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Five people arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender are also on bail.
