Doctor Who fans flock to town for Time Lord glimpse

Doctor Who fans have flocked to a market town in Herefordshire after reported sightings of lead actor Ncuti Gatwa.
Filming for an episode is under way in Leominster, with eagle-eyed fans and residents eventually getting a glimpse of Gatwa, who plays the 15th incarnation of TV's Time Lord.
The titular star was said to have been spotted at the town's OK Diner, a 1950s-themed restaurant which seemed to mesh with reports of a recent casting call telling extras they would be dressed in period attire.
Doctor Who fan Scott Price, from Ludlow in Shropshire, said it was a "massive privilege" to witness filming on Thursday.
Not put off by miserable, rainy conditions, Mr Price told the BBC he had spent the last two days at filming locations.
"Obviously I am a big fan of Doctor Who," he said. "I have been watching it since Matt Smith's 2012 Christmas special and I have not stopped watching it since.
"This is my first time ever seeing Doctor Who filming but wow, it's so exciting."
Herefordshire will likely feel like home to Gatwa, having filmed four seasons of the Netflix hit Sex Education in the county.
Doctor Who fanatic and Leominster resident Martha Davies, 18, wanted to catch his return, telling the BBC: "Nothing ever really happens in Leominster so it's lovely for something to happen like this.
"I live, like, 10 minutes away, maybe even closer, so it is a big thing to happen."
Explaining her love for Doctor Who, Ms Davies said: "It is a great community, it just feels so welcoming and the writing is just great.
"Russell T Davies is a great writer so it just feels like you are a part of the atmosphere whenever you are watching it."
