Four men have been told they face no further police action after a man died following an assault outside a pub.

Neil McGibbon, 58, was fatally injured close to the King's Head pub in Loddon on the evening of 10 November. He died three days later in hospital.

Norfolk Police said five men in their 20s who were arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault had been on bail until Wednesday.

Four were released without charge and one had his bail extended until 22 March "pending further inquiries".

Meanwhile, a man in his 50s, who was arrested on suspicion of assault two days after the incident, has been released under investigation, the force added.
