CCTV appeal over carpet shop hammer damage suspect
The hammer attacker caused thousands of pounds of damage at the shop in Harrogate, police said

Police have issued a CCTV image of a person suspected of causing thousands of pounds of damage to a carpet shop in Harrogate.
Windows were smashed with a hammer at KD Carpets on Skipton Road at about 01:00 GMT on Sunday 3 December, police said.
It was estimated that about £10,000 of damage was caused to the shop, according to officers.
The CCTV image was not high quality but it was hoped it would “prompt people’s memories”, a North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said.
Anyone with information, or who saw what happened, was asked to contact the North Yorkshire force.
