Two men in their 40s have been seriously injured after a brawl at a pub.

Officers were called to The Beehive in Reigate, Surrey, at about 22:30 GMT on Saturday after reports of an altercation involving about eight people, police said.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm and later released on conditional bail.

Detectives are appealing for people who saw what happened to contact them.

"We believe there are outstanding suspects and officers are now appealing for further information and witnesses," a Surrey Police spokesman said.

The BBC has contacted the owners of the pub for a comment.
