A woman has been charged with murder following the death of her newborn baby.
The child, who was thought to be a few days old, was found at an address on Raglan Street, Coventry, on 6 March, said West Midlands Police.
Jia Xin Teo, 21, of the same address, is set to appear at Warwick Crown Court on Tuesday, accused of murder, after first appearing on Saturday at Coventry Magistrates' Court.
Further tests to find out the cause of the baby's death were needed after a post-mortem examination proved inconclusive, added the force.
