Appeal for man to help with club shooting inquiry

Police have released details of someone they would like to speak to as part of an inquiry into a nightclub shooting where three men were hurt.

The three recieved gunshot wounds during a shooting at the Mango nightclub in Bristol Street, Birmingham, during the early hours of 20 September.

A spokesperson for the force said: "As part of our enquiries, officers want to identify the man in the image as we believe he may have vital information that will help us with our investigation.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and three women in their 20s and 30s were also questioned on suspicion of violent disorder. All have been released on bail.

Speaking at the time of the incident, Acting Ch Insp Michael Clarke appealed for anyone with information about the incident to contact West Midlands Police.

He said: "This happened in a busy nightclub, on one of the main roads out of Birmingham, so it's vital that we hear from anybody who saw what happened or who may have captured it on dashcam as they went past.

"If you were in the club at the time and saw what happened, or recorded any footage from inside the venue, we need to hear from you urgently."

"Our officers are working tirelessly to identify all those involved in the disorder and are continuing to review CCTV footage and speak to witnesses."
