A man sustained life-threatening injuries when four vehicles were involved in a crash on the A38 in Derbyshire.

Emergency services were called to the crash on the northbound side, close to the A50 roundabout at Findern, just after 20:50 BST on Monday.

Derbyshire Police said the crash involved an Audi A5, BMW 3 Series, Ford Focus and a HGV.

The driver of the BMW was seriously injured and taken to hospital where he remains, while a woman in her 20s and a man in his 20s were arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
