The A46 Lincoln Bypass will be closed overnight for maintenance

Part of the A46 Lincoln Bypass will be closed overnight on Friday.
Lincolnshire County Council said diversions would be in place to allow workers to clean signs and drains, cut grass, trim hedges and litter pick.
The bypass will be closed between Carholme roundabout and Wragby Road roundabout from 19:00 and 06:00 GMT the following morning.
Karen Cassar, the council's director for highways, said: "These works will cost around £20,000 to deliver and will ensure that surface water will shift off the road itself, improving safety."
She added: "I would like to thank everyone affected for their patience and understanding whilst we are delivering these critical maintenance works."
