Police officer found not guilty of assault

A police officer accused of assaulting a member of the public while on duty has been found not guilty.

West Yorkshire PC Denis Kadric was cleared of causing actual bodily harm during an incident in Bradford on 26 January.

The 34-year-old, who has been a response officer in Bradford for six years, was found not guilty at York Crown Court on Friday.

West Yorkshire Police said PC Kadric would remain suspended from duty whilst gross misconduct proceedings were reviewed following the court finding.
