Three men absconded from an open prison at the same time, police have said.
Thames Valley Police said it was appealing for the public's help to locate the men who absconded from Spring Hill Prison, near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, at about 18:00 BST on Monday.
It warned people not to approach Jason MacDonagh, 34, Daniel Harty, 34 and Barney Casey, 24.
The men have links to Bristol, the West Midlands, Leicestershire, Leeds, Bradford, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, it added.
All three were described as white and about 5ft 9in (1.75m) tall.
MacDonagh has a medium build, ginger hair and facial hair and was last seen wearing grey tracksuit trousers and a white vest.
Casey has a small build, black hair, with a moustache and goatee beard, and was also wearing a grey tracksuit.
Harty has a slim build, black hair and a black beard. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket and grey joggers.
Claire Busby, police staff investigator, asked for anyone with information about their whereabouts to call 101 or to make a report online.
"Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111," she added.
