Face masks back at Lincolnshire hospitals

- Published
Patients, visitors and staff will be asked to wear a face mask in some parts of hospitals in Lincolnshire from Monday.
The measures are being brought in at Lincoln County, Grantham, Boston Pilgrim and Louth County hospitals.
United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust said the move was necessary in high-risk areas due to an increase in cases of flu, Covid-19 and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
Patients will be asked to wear masks in emergency departments, urgent treatment centres and admission areas. Visitors should do so when in wards and departments, unless medically exempt.
Visitors will also be asked to regularly wash their hands and to stay away if they have been feeling unwell.
