A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the death of a man in Goole.
It comes after a 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder. Both boys have been released on bail.
Humberside Police were called at about 19:45 BST on Sunday to reports a man had been found with head injuries inside a property in Hook Road.
A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and died the next day.
A post-mortem found the cause of death was a head injury consistent with being sustained from a fall.
Det Ch Insp Jim Clough said: "There will continue to be an increased police presence in the area and our neighbourhood policing team are out providing reassurance to residents, so please do come and speak to them if you have any concerns."
He urged anyone with information that could help the investigation to contact Humberside Police or Crimestoppers.
