Children seriously injured after being hit by car

Two children have been seriously injured after being struck by a car in Penicuik on Sunday afternoon.
The 11-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl were walking with a 12-year-old girl around 15:20 when they collided with a a Volkswagen T-Cross on the town's Bog Road.
Both the 11-year-old and the 13-year-old were taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Edinburgh, where medical staff confirmed their injuries as serious, while the 12-year-old girl was uninjured.
Police Scotland said it was working to "establish the full circumstances of this collision."
The road was closed to allow for collision investigators to examine the location.
Sgt Fraser Mitchell said: Anyone with any information or dash cam footage should get in contact, no matter how insignificant it may seem."
