A man was taken to hospital after a car hit a tree, police say.

Surrey Police is investigating after the crash at the junction of Little London Road and Park Road in Albury, near Guildford, on Tuesday at about 09:30 GMT.

The man, in his 40s, was taken to hospital for medical treatment after South East Coast Ambulance Service and Surrey Fire and Rescue Service also attended, a police spokesperson added.

The force said it wanted to trace the movements of a Black Jaguar E-Pace prior to the crash and asked anyone with information to get in touch.
