Motorists have been warned to expect disruption as a series of roads closures will be in place for the island's annual Battle of Flowers.
Renowned for its colourful floral floats and dancers, the 123-year-old annual event brings a carnival atmosphere to the streets of Jersey.
Kicking off at 13:00 BST, the two-hour parade will begin and finish at the Esplanade. There will also be an evening parade on Saturday at 19:30, with a firework finale.
Organisers said this year's event will feature 30ft (9.1m) floats instead of the 45ft (13.7m) floats in previous years.
Motorists have been warned that road closures will be in force one hour before and after the parade starts and finishes.
Bus routes will continue operating as normal, excluding those that go along the route which will be suspended during the parade.
Organisers said more than 20 floats would feature in the event alongside bands, dancers and local entertainers.
This year's parade route will head along La Route de la Liberation, Weighbridge Place, Conway Street and Broad Street, York Street, The Parade and Gloucester Street.
'Brimming with enthusiasm'
Organisers previously said: "We are a new team, brimming with enthusiasm for the future of the Battle of Flowers.
"This August is about celebrating our incredible community and the enduring spirit of this unique festival and keeping it alive."
